Our Priorities:
HEALTH
The health and well-being of our community is paramount, and Madeira will follow public health guidance from the CDC and state and local health agencies. To protect each other in this different year, each of us must take extra steps for our own health and for the collective protection of others. We have established procedures to mitigate the risk of an outbreak on campus while also continuing to deliver a high-quality Madeira experience for all our girls. Should a case or cases arise, we have established protocols we will follow.
COMMUNITY/
RESIDENTIAL LIFE
The close-knit community, individualized guidance to help each girl achieve her personal best, and robust out-of-classroom experiences are core to Madeira and will remain a foundation, even as public health guidelines necessitate some modifications to our day-to-day operations. At Madeira, we are fortunate that our large campus with many buildings gives us numerous options and advantages in adapting to new guidelines.
ACADEMICS & EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING
Madeira has always been a leader and an innovator in girls’ education. We are designing a nimble academic program that accommodates both on-campus and distance learning for classes,
Co-Curriculum, and extracurricular activities. In this challenging time, Madeira will lead.
